Our Expert Faculty

Students are the foundation of an educational institute but our learned gurus
are our best assets. SCOPE faculty is full-time, qualified and friendly professional
PhDs, and M.Tech’s from institutes like the IITs and NITs.
The Faculty is always willing to guide the students and are specially trained to
understand students’ psychology, analyze their problems and put across difficult-to-understand
concepts with ease, thus making the students’ learning process smooth and easy.
Continuous faculty development is the most important mission at SCOPE. The Faculty
not only has the strength & depth in their respective fields, but also has a
very broad range of expertise. This gives us a distinctive profile that engineering
students find advantageous.
Continuous faculty development is the most important mission in SCOPE. The Faculty
not only has the strength & depth in their respective fields, but also has a
very broad range of expertise. This gives us a distinctive profile that engineering
students find advantageous. By working closely with academics who are leaders in
their field, students are encouraged to develop capabilities to face the competitive
world outside. This requires considerable commitment, but brings great rewards -
exhilarating intellectual satisfaction and a capability much sought after by employers
in the industry and academia.
IT enabled Admissions & Administration
A sophisticated IT enabled network has been developed in the college. All
admission procedures, examination work and administrative functions are facilitated
and expedited with the help of computers. The computer section also serves as a
database for continuous evaluation and internal assessment of records that are part
of the examination pattern of the college as well as all other information including
circulars, handouts, students’ and staffs’ profiles.
SCOPE Library
The college provides a well-equipped, computerized
and well-maintained centralized digital library with more than 10,000 books and
hundreds of CDs covering the syllabus and beyond. In addition to this we have national
and international journals, magazines and other reference material. The library
is managed by trained and efficient staff, personally guiding the students in selecting
relevant books. The institute also has an online public access catalogue. The digital
library has also been facilitated with online Newspapers, Books & Journals.
SCOPE Labs & Workshops
Laboratories at SCOPE provide learning to students at two levels. First, for real
hands-on experience our labs are equipped with the most modern instruments and equipments
the stream needs and not just models or demonstration kits. Secondly, our labs have
well qualified and experienced technical staff to look after every need of our students
and help them in conducting experiments and as well as go beyond the curriculum
to create concepts and applications.
Our Engineering programmes benefit greatly with excellent experimental facilities
to support the courses. Labs have adequate infrastructure to accommodate all students.

societies and institutes like CSI (Computer Society of India), IETE (Institution
of Electronic and Telecom Engineers), IE (India of Engineers), ISTE etc.
They periodically organize various events at local, regional, state and national
levels. Our students actively take part in various inter-college and national level
seminars, conferences and symposiums.
Discipline & Reforms
SCOPE is well known for generous distribution of awards and prizes to diligent and
deserving students. However, we are also very strict about discipline and any act
of indiscipline is dealt with equal severity. Disrespect to rules, irregularities
in attendance, lack of punctuality, non payment/delay in payment of dues and any
kind of misbehavior or any violation of college discipline are considered for appropriate
reforms. Reform measures may include administrative and disciplinary actions like
fine, suspension and termination in serious cases.
Students are required to attend not less than 75% of lectures and tutorials in each
subject and complete 75% of practical work in practical subjects in order to appear
for the University Examination.
